Saranga tells you everything you want to know about his country and you can also have very good conversations with him about other topics. We had a wonderful time with him, he also took us to unknown places and he made the time in Sri Lanka even more beautiful for us than we expected.

We built a great friendship with Saranga, who provided the highest caliber roadside snacks and views. Highly recommend tour guide at historical sights and Safari, which they can help you set up. There were no hidden fees but pro traveler tip, enquirer with your hotel about driver accommodations (you can even request to put their very affordable room on your bill!). Don’t forget to tip, these guys work hard. Public transit is very unreliable, this team allowed us to have an amazing adventure with little hassle. One of our group members had to leave a few days early and they got her to her flight safe and sound. Americans please not international phones didn’t work very well, SIM cards were necessary. 10/10 highly recommend.

  He was the best driver we could imagine for our week in Sri Lanka. Airport transfer, buying SIM cards, train tickets, finding restaurants and the really best sights and tourist... read more attractions - he arranged everything for us. We also had really good and interresting conversation during our rides. And he helped us buying beer from Sri Lanka as a souvenir for our friends and parents at home. He helped us so many times during our stay... read more in Sri Lanka and we always felt safe with him as our driver, although the traffic can be crazy. The car was nice, comfortable and had a really good AC. He showed us so many amazing places which were not even in our trip guide. He also brought us to a place where you can get really close to elephants, which are treated very good (no chains, no cages, enough to eat, a place to bath, ...). He always made pictures of us. We always had nice conversations and Saranga has a wide knowledge about Sri Lankan culture and so much more things. He speaks English very well and there wasn't one thing we couldn't understand. In general, there is nothing to complain about. We really recommend him!! We travelled with him 7 days.

  My sister and I had the most amazing time travelling around beautiful Sri Lanka, made even better by our wonderful tour guide Saranga, it wouldn't have been the same without... read more him. Saranga met us at the airport with the biggest smile, and continued to meet us in this way throughout our whole trip until the very end. Saranga gave lots of suggestions and helped map our entire route, adding in some of our favourite places that we could have easily missed without him.

We enjoyed learning about the current and historical political climate from Saranga, something we wouldn't have learnt otherwise. There was a lot of unrest at the time we visited with various planned protests, and even a curfew put in place. We felt very lucky to have Saranga, which meant our travels were not disturbed and we could remain well informed at all times.

One of our favourite things about Sri Lanka, other than the people, was the Sri Lankan food. Saranga took us to lots of locally run restaurants, cafes and shops. It was great to be able to talk to all the locals, and having Saranga there to translate (if needed) was amazing.

I can't recommend Saranga enough. We miss him very much, and can't wait until the next time we visit.
